Alkagesta says it has completed its first truck-to-vessel marine fuel delivery in Constanța, Romania, supplying 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil from two trucks on 2 October 2026. In a statement published on its website, the company presented the operation as an extension of its fuel distribution capabilities in Romania and the wider Black Sea region.
The delivery adds a truck-to-vessel service to Alkagesta’s Romanian operations. According to the company, Romania has become increasingly important to its regional petroleum products and biofuels business during 2026. The statement placed the Constanța supply alongside developments in aviation fuel, crude oil and sustainable fuels, describing them as part of its broader commercial expansion across European energy markets.
Earlier in 2026, Alkagesta said it obtained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System and began delivering Jet A1 to the European aviation market. The company described aviation fuel supplies as being under acute pressure at the time, with greater military use of the pipeline making civilian fuel distribution more complicated.
Alkagesta also reported completing its first crude oil transactions during the period. Those activities included handling delivery through to the destination of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East. The crude transactions were among the other trading developments cited in the company’s account of the Constanța operation.
In sustainable fuels, the company said it secured a multi-year agreement for biofuel storage at Pantank in Antwerp, as well as a five-year offtake agreement for used cooking oil feedstock. It presented the two arrangements as strengthening its participation in Europe’s biofuels supply chain.
Separately, Alkagesta reported that its Singapore hub reached monthly marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes in its first full year of operation. Its fertiliser desk, meanwhile, operated amid substantial supply chain disruption and food security pressures affecting global agricultural markets, according to the statement.
